Margaret Qualley’s Best Chanel Looks
From Cannes and the Oscars to The Dog Stars, revisit Margaret Qualley’s standout Chanel looks, including archival references, couture details, and Matthieu Blazy’s barefoot sandals.
As autumn approaches, TheDiary turns to celebrity street style for ideas worth carrying into the new season. Vivid red has emerged as one of Fall 2026’s defining colors, and Kaia Gerber’s latest New York look offers a clear formula for wearing it from head to toe.

While promoting the FX series The Shards, Gerber stepped away from her familiar black and neutral wardrobe in a saturated red dress from Alaïa’s Fall 2026 collection. The long-sleeved design follows the body before falling into a fluid maxi skirt, while ribbed panels at the cuffs and hips create the illusion of carefully coordinated separates. She completed the look with black heeled thong sandals, oversized shield sunglasses and Aupen’s compact Miracle Nylon bag.
To recreate Gerber’s outfit, TheDiary team found the exact pieces she wore.
The centerpiece of Gerber’s outfit is a red trompe-l’œil column dress. Designed by Pieter Mulier for his final Alaïa collection, the one-piece design combines a fine-knit crewneck bodice with a fluid ankle-length skirt, creating an elegant, elongated silhouette on Gerber.

The Row’s Sacha leather thong sandals are the perfect match for the dress. Their slim straps and stiletto heels introduce a minimal black contrast without interrupting the dress’s clean line.

Gerber carries Aupen’s Miracle Nylon bag in Noir. Its compact shape complements the restrained styling, while its black color connects it with the sandals.

Oversized shield sunglasses complete the outfit. Their strong black frame gives the elegant red dress a sharper, more contemporary finish.
