A New Era of Faith: How the Vatican Will Choose Its Next Leader
Inside the papal conclave: How the Catholic Church will choose the next pope after Pope Francis, and what it means for the future.
The Diary’s new era - from now on, TheDiary goes global, and our readers will enjoy articles not only in Georgian but also in English. This means that Georgia’s rich culture, vibrant art scene, and compelling stories will now reach an even wider audience through our platform. To celebrate this exciting new chapter, we gathered at the Museum of Fine Arts, bringing together influencers, celebrities, artists, and business representatives.
The event opened with a striking exhibition at the museum, where guests explored the works of Georgian revolutionary artists - creations that channel the power of resistance and the pursuit of freedom in a contemporary landscape.

After the night at the museum, guests returned to the conference hall, where The Diary’s founders discussed the magazine’s mission and future plans. Born during the pandemic - a time when the world was seeking new ways to connect - our media platform emerged as a space for storytelling, culture, and dialogue.
TheDiary has become a platform where every story is shared. Over the years, the magazine has introduced readers to many talented and inspiring Georgians, including remarkable GOGOs who lead thriving businesses. TheDiary shines a spotlight on the achievements of Georgians, both at home and abroad, and leaves its mark on the journey toward national unity. It seeks out inspiring individuals across the globe, sharing their stories with you. Now, it’s time to bring these narratives to the international stage. Georgia’s stories deserve an expansive audience, and TheDiary will serve as the bridge between Georgia and the world.
At the event, we were also captivated by the words of two talented artists, Mariam Akhobadze and Mariam Akubardia. They spoke about the power of cultural diplomacy, highlighting that the growth of Georgian art and culture in a free environment can only be achieved through close collaboration with Europe and the cultivation of steadfast, supportive allies.
The evening drew to a close with a powerful musical performance by Tamta Tavartkiladze, whose composition set an emotionally charged tone. In her track, the iconic words of Zurab Zhvania resonated: "I am Georgian, and therefore, I am European." This musical performance served as a bold declaration.
As Tamta explains, creativity is what Georgia needs to forge a broader path, both domestically and internationally. In navigating this journey, a connection to the West will prove invaluable.
The event placed special focus on TheDiary’s sections: fashion, beauty, photography, travel, and the "Bookshelf" column.
TheDiary has already embarked on a new path and is ready to introduce Georgian stories and the work of talented individuals to an English-speaking audience.
