Lady Gaga at Coachella 2025: A Career-Spanning Spectacle

Coachella 2025 is in full swing and while the days are soaked in sunlight and style, it’s the nights that etch themselves into memory. This weekend, the desert belonged to one woman alone: Lady Gaga.

Now 39, the global icon returned to the Coachella main stage to headline in a performance that was equal parts homage, evolution, and unfiltered theatricality. Held in Indio, California, her set paid reverent tribute to the many eras of her career and each one as transformative as the last.

She opened with “Bloody Mary,” the haunting fan-favorite from her 2011 Born This Way album, instantly setting a tone that was mystical, moody, and larger than life. From there, she unleashed a high-voltage medley blending “Abracadabra” from her new Mayhem album with the fierce beats of “Judas” and the iconic pulse of “Poker Face.”

What unfolded over the next two hours was not just a concert. It was a carefully layered performance-art narrative: from baroque-inspired visuals and cathedral-like staging to surprise appearances and surrealist choreography. Gaga didn’t just revisit her past, she reclaimed it, reshaped it, and re-offered it to her fans in entirely new forms.

Gaga is scheduled to perform again on April 18, giving festival-goers another chance to witness what many are already calling the defining performance of Coachella 2025.
