Georgian designer George Keburia made his London Fashion Week debut, presenting his Autumn/Winter collection to the sounds of Georgian band Skazz. Keburia elegantly captured the essence of his brand in one cohesive collection - featuring avant-garde hats, squared-toe shoes, precise geometric silhouettes, and futuristic designs inspired by echoes of fashion’s past.

Breaking free from traditional stereotypes, Keburia delivered a strikingly distinctive aesthetic - expertly balancing sharp, structured silhouettes with delicate, refined details.

The show opened dramatically with a striking monochrome look—a model with stark white hair and bold black lips wore a dress defined by an oversized collar and elongated sleeves. Keburia's collection masterfully fused touches of Victorian fashion with nods to ’90s aesthetics and hints of Y2K style. The palette was largely black-and-white, punctuated by vibrant bursts of unexpected color.

Keburia is a master of asymmetrical cuts and fabric manipulation, consistently injecting his pieces with a dynamic sense of movement. This collection effortlessly blended fluidity with structured elements, boldly stepping beyond traditional silhouettes and standard shapes - yet each look remained distinctly wearable far beyond the runway.

George Keburia’s debut at London Fashion Week marks a pivotal moment in his career. With his distinctive aesthetic and singular vision, Keburia confidently claims his place in contemporary fashion. His collections are consistently charged with emotion and rich with symbolism, and this was no exception. Hands were a central motif, notably the provocative silhouette of a raised middle finger, appearing boldly on both the garments and the show’s posters.

Sheer gloves and fabrics wrapped tightly around the body appeared to symbolize society’s pressure - its relentless attempts to mold and confine the individual. Keburia’s response was clear, powerful, and unwavering: freedom matters above all else.

Two looks deserve special mention - ponchos boldly printed with the phrases “Everything is Important” and “Normalize Happiness.” Yet the finale was even more impactful: Keburia himself stepped out before the audience, holding a sign that read, “Free political prisoners! Free Georgia!”
