Salome Presser About to Make Her Paris Fashion Week Debut

Share:

At just 15 years old, Salome Presser is stepping onto the international modeling stage, ready to conquer the fashion world. With Georgian supermodel Mathilda Gvarliani now ranked among the ten highest-paid models globally, Salome follows in the footsteps of her role model  and of every Georgian girl who dreams of becoming a high-fashion icon.

Much like Mathilda, who began her journey at a young age, Salome discovered her love and passion for fashion in her homeland of Georgia. Now, she is setting her sights on a global career, seeking out unique and exciting opportunities. Her first major step will come this October, when she makes her debut at Paris Fashion Week.

In the interview with The Diary, Salome shares her love for fashion, her biggest dreams, and the plans she is building for the future.

Salome, how did your journey into modeling begin, and when did you realize fashion was your calling?

Salome: My introduction to modeling started when I was just eight years old. At the time, my parents owned a high-fashion boutique specializing in luxury children’s clothing. My mother, who is very knowledgeable about fashion, always helped me put together looks where every detail matched perfectly. Surrounded by iconic brands like Woolrich, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren, and many more, I became the face of the boutique, presenting the collections and even doing my very first photo shoot.

What was the biggest challenge you faced working internationally at such a young age?

Salome: One of the hardest parts was traveling with my parents to new countries, where I had to adapt to unfamiliar languages, different mentalities, and unique work ethics. It wasn’t easy at first, but through hard work and determination, I learned how to adjust and grow. These experiences gave me the confidence and strength to feel at home in international settings.

Looking back, which project are you most proud of, and why does it stand out to you?

Salome: Right now, the project I’m most proud of is preparing for Paris Fashion Week 2025. For the past month, I’ve been in Georgia doing intensive private training, focusing on perfecting every detail of my walk and stage presence. On October 5th, I’ll proudly make my debut in Paris. Being part of such a prestigious event is both an honor and a defining milestone in my career.

Is there a particular brand or designer that has had a big influence on your career?

Salome: At this point, I’m collaborating on projects with several labels rather than representing one brand exclusively. That said, I deeply admire houses like Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel, and Victoria’s Secret. It would be a true honor to one day represent these iconic names, walk their runways, and bring their vision to life.

Can you share any exciting news or upcoming projects with us?

Salome: I’m very excited about recently giving my first interviews, which will be published in the coming weeks. I’m proud to share my story about what it really takes to become a model. My main focus now is next month’s Paris Fashion Week, where I’ll be walking the runway. Looking ahead, one of my dreams is to collaborate with Georgian model Matilda and hopefully share the runway with her, representing Georgia on the international stage.
