Exciting days lie ahead for Azerbaijan’s fashion scene. From May 15 to 17, Baku will host Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Azerbaijan for the very first time and it's going to be a major milestone for the country’s creative industry. The theme of the week is Fashion Renaissance, promising a showcase of collections at the intersection of fashion and art, where tradition meets modernity. With this event, Baku is stepping confidently onto the global fashion stage.
Runway shows will take place in the modern Mercedes-Benz space and will feature designers from Italy, Georgia, Turkey, and Israel, alongside a rising generation of Azerbaijani talent. For many local designers, it’s a unique opportunity to share their vision on an international platform.
Innovation is at the heart of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Azerbaijan. We are expecting runway experiences enhanced with artificial intelligence, as well as virtual and augmented reality. Even the official teaser for the event was created entirely with AI.
DJ AKG (Kamran Garalov) will take care of the rhythmic pulse of the event, whose electronic soundscape will set the tone throughout the shows.
The official lineup has already been announced. Among the designers hitting the runway are Vague, Emilio Bonadio, and Georgian labels INDIVIDI and BLIKVANGER. Also featured is the experimental project Flying Textile by Zia Kojaturk — a bold symbol of creative freedom and innovation.
