Where Fashion Is Spending Summer 2026: Europe’s Designer Beach Club Takeovers

Share:

Every summer, fashion houses take over some of Europe’s most recognizable resort addresses, temporarily transforming beach clubs, hotel pools and seaside terraces into extensions of their own worlds. In 2026, Jacquemus is back in Monaco, Dolce & Gabbana is in Taormina, Dior has returned to Capri, Missoni is in Ibiza and Burberry has taken over a historic stretch of the French Riviera.

Jacquemus x Monte-Carlo Beach Club

Jacquemus first partnered with Monte-Carlo Beach Club in 2025, when bright yellow defined the collaboration. For summer 2026, Simon Porte Jacquemus has changed direction, drawing inspiration from the beach clubs of the 1950s French Riviera.

This season, parasols, towels and other accessories appear in a palette of mint blue, cream and black. Two seasonal Jacquemus boutiques have also opened on the property, carrying pieces created as part of the collaboration. The takeover will remain at Monte-Carlo Beach Club through September 27.

Dior x il Riccio

Dior’s Dioriviera at Il Riccio, Capri

Dioriviera has returned to Il Riccio in Capri. Part of Jumeirah Capri Palace, the cliffside restaurant sits in Anacapri near the famous Blue Grotto, with the blue-and-white palette that has long defined the island’s visual identity.

For the 2026 season, Dior has once again created a dedicated Dioriviera setting alongside a temporary boutique. The store carries ready-to-wear, bags, shoes and accessories, while Dior details extend onto the restaurant’s open-air terrace and lounge areas. Il Riccio itself is known for Mediterranean cuisine, with a particular focus on seafood.

Dolce & Gabbana x San Domenico Palace

Sicily has always been central to Dolce & Gabbana’s identity, appearing throughout the house’s collections, campaigns and visual language for decades. Its collaboration with San Domenico Palace in Taormina is a natural continuation of that relationship.

The Four Seasons hotel occupies the site of a 15th-century Dominican monastery and overlooks both the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna. For summer 2026, Dolce & Gabbana has dressed the property in a palm-leaf print and opened a temporary boutique inside the hotel. Taormina is particularly significant for the house this year, as the city is also hosting its Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria and Alta Gioielleria events.

Giorgio Armani x Roberto Forte dei Marmi

On the Tuscan coast, Giorgio Armani offers a very different vision of summer. For the 2026 season, the house has returned to Bagni Roberto in Forte dei Marmi, dressing the beach club in its signature combination of navy and white.

Armani’s aesthetic appears across the parasols, loungers and relaxation areas, while a seasonal boutique presents the house’s summer collection. The result is characteristically understated, fitting naturally into Forte dei Marmi’s quieter approach to seaside luxury.

Roberto Cavalli x Annex Beach

In Cannes, Roberto Cavalli and Annex Beach are continuing their collaboration for a third season. For 2026, the Croisette address opposite Hôtel Carlton has been dressed in the house’s Ray of Paradise and Jaguar Roses prints. Cavalli’s signature animal motifs appear across parasols, loungers, textiles and throughout the restaurant interiors.

The Annex Beach interiors were designed by Jacques Garcia, while the 2026 menu is overseen by Italian chef Gennaro Esposito, whose restaurants hold two Michelin stars. During the day, guests can spend time by the sea and stay for lunch; by evening, the atmosphere shifts toward entertainment, with music and live shows becoming part of the experience.

Missoni x OKU Ibiza

In Ibiza, Missoni has created a Resort Club around OKU Ibiza’s 50-meter swimming pool, bringing the house’s unmistakable patterns to one of the hotel’s central outdoor spaces. The collaboration is now in its second summer.

For 2026, shades of deep blue, turquoise and emerald dominate the design. Missoni’s signature stripes and graphic prints appear on loungers, towels and furniture arranged around the pool. OKU Ibiza is located near Cala Gració on the island’s western coast, and as part of the collaboration, Missoni has also opened its first boutique in Ibiza.

Gucci x La Rose des Vents

For summer 2026, Gucci has transformed the beachfront setting of La Rose des Vents in Monaco to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Flora. The location is particularly fitting: the famous floral design was created in 1966 by artist Vittorio Accornero, commissioned by Rodolfo Gucci specifically for Princess Grace of Monaco.

Sixty years later, Flora has returned to Monaco. The intricate floral pattern now covers parasols, loungers, textiles and decorative details throughout La Rose des Vents. The venue also has its own restaurant and café, making it a place to spend the day rather than simply stop by to see the installation.

Burberry x Hôtel Belles Rives

Visit Hôtel Belles Rives in Antibes this summer and its private beach is unmistakably Burberry. The house has reworked its signature check in shades of Riviera blue specifically for the collaboration, using the pattern across parasols, loungers, terraces and even the hotel’s original 1920s elevator. Guests can also find Burberry-designed water skis and specially created ice pops.

The setting comes with a literary history of its own. F. Scott Fitzgerald and Zelda Fitzgerald lived here in the 1920s, and it was at this address that Fitzgerald began working on Tender Is the Night. There is a fitting Burberry connection in the novel too: its protagonist, Dick Diver, wears a Burberry coat. The seasonal takeover will remain in place through September 30.
